Harry Triguboff Welcomes Migration Boost

Meriton Founder and Managing Director Harry Triguboff has welcomed the latest migration boost, as the government prepares to bring back fully vaccinated international students and eligible visa holders, and expand the migration intake to 200,000 from 1^st December 2021.

Mr. Triguboff believes the migration boost could revitalize the major cities and greatly benefit Australia’s economy, “They come here and take up residence in our major cities, and they want to spend money.” The return of skilled workers will start to fill the ever-rising labour vacancy, which has risen to over 20% across all industries, from 11% just before the pandemic according to ABS, while the international students are expected to provide a much-needed boost to the education industry as well as the whole economy.
