Infinity Wins Best Residential High-Rise In Australia

Meriton’s 81-storey …Infinity‘ tower in Queensland has taken out the coveted International Property Award for …Best Residential High-Rise Development’ (Australia). The landmark Meriton building, designed by Brisbane’s DBI Architects, was awarded the highest national accolade available, the …5 Star’, at the official awards ceremony in Kuala Lumpur on May 9.
Brisbane’s tallest residential tower won over the panel of more than 70 judges from across the world with its cutting-edge design, consisting of an elegant glass tower with contrasting facades: crisp, white vertical blades on one side and smooth horizontal spandrels on the other to create an arresting visage.
Located in the heart of Brisbane city, with views never seen before of the Brisbane River, Mount Cootha and Moreton Bay, Infinity offers luxury facilities including a lap pool, spa, sauna, gymnasium and accommodation for short-stay guests through more than 200 serviced apartments. The design blends subtle colours and finishes to create an iconic tower which has transformed the face of the Brisbane city skyline.
Infinity is now in the running to take out the international award at the end of 2014.
