Meriton Achieves The Height Of Luxury In Zetland
30 May 2013
Making history this evening, Lord Mayor of Sydney Clover Moore will be opening the tallest residential tower in the Green Square precinct, joined by Meriton boss Harry Triguboff.
Meriton has stamped residential landmarks all over Sydney, Gold Coast and Brisbane, including the iconic World Tower in Sydney and Brisbane’s new tallest tower, Soleil completed last year.
Having reached their 50th anniversary in building quality apartments, Meriton is always pushing the boundaries in design and innovation, and of course also in height.
VSQ North stands as the tallest tower in the entire Green Square and Zetland region, soaring 27 levels, adding another landmark to the Sydney skyline.
From the balconies of VSQ North, residents will enjoy a panorama that others will envy, of impressive unsurpassed city views, as well as park and district views.
The injection of VSQ North will contribute a sleek and modern standard of living just 4km from the CBD, situated at the gateway to the city. All aspects of a healthy lifestyle have been catered for in the 5-star resort style facilities, including an indoor 20m lap-pool, a spa, sauna, gymnasium and on-site child care centre.
The development is comprised of 297 premium apartments over 4 buildings and is already 90% sold. VSQ North’s striking design is thanks to architecture firm Turner & Associates along with invaluable input from Graham Jahn and his team at the Department of Planning.
Not only investors are snapping up these rare apartments, but Meriton has found the building to be attractive to also empty nesters and first home buyers, with an owner to investor ratio of 50:50.
VSQ North is another success story within the Green Square precinct, Sydney’s most exciting urban regeneration. VSQ North has been achieving record sales for the area, reflecting the demand for luxury inner city living.
Meriton was the first to build on South Dowling Street 20 years ago, with the construction of the red brick Centennial Mews overlooking Moore Park Gardens. Meriton pioneered construction in the area again in the early 2000’s with its Crown Square complex in Waterloo comprised of 2500 apartments over 10 buildings, an aquatic & fitness facilities, a shopping centre, parks and 2 child care centres. Crown Square is a shining example of Meriton’s work creating communities that serve residents for decades to come, and the Victoria Square precinct is next to follow.
VSQ North will be the third Meriton development completed in Zetland as part of its Victoria Square precinct; the first two being VSQ 1 (residential apartments) and VSQ2 (serviced apartments). Moving forward, Meriton looks forward to the completion of EON Apartments in Joynton Ave, Zetland. The first stage due for completion in July this year and second stage in early 2014.
Meriton has already purchased multiple sites in Zetland and Mascot over the last year, which ensures Harry and his team will continue to be instrumental in building up the area for years to come.
