Meriton Launches ‘Epping Park’

Meriton has celebrated the opening of its biggest northern districts project to date, Epping Park, on what was once the site of Channel Seven studios. The federal Member for Bennelong, John Alexander OAM MP, unveiled the plaque for the one-of-a-kind masterplanned community at an outdoor garden party on Tuesday night on the tennis court.

The party’s …tennis’ theme gave the nod to Alexander’s own history as a tennis world champion, as well as Epping Park’s notable status as the site of Australia’s first ever professional tennis tournament in 1968.

Meriton has brought new life to the former industrial park with 800 apartments in a precinct formed of 17 buildings ranging in height from three to six storeys – a retail store, childcare centre, tennis courts, gymnasiums, lap pools, children’s playgrounds and barbecue areas round out the development.

What makes Epping Park unique is its emphasis on meticulous landscaping and leafy gardens, ensuring privacy and serenity for residents.

The precinct is surrounded by Meriton’s $1.2 million bushland reserve and features generous public parklands.

Epping Park features primarily two-bedroom, open-plan apartments alongside luxuriously appointed one-bedroom, three-bedroom and several four-bedroom apartments, most with media rooms or study nooks.

Dual aspects, expansive windows and rooftop terraces further characterise the development’s open aesthetic. The apartments boast a six-star thermal rating.

The development is on track for completion in early 2015. Six hundred apartments have been sold already and Stage Three is now selling off the plan.
